REMINDER TO SIGN UP FOR CODERED

D., Feb. 14 -- The city of Fargo issued the following news release:

Cass Fargo Emergency Management would like to remind Cass County residents who haven't already signed up for CodeRED, to please do so before spring flooding.

Cass County Emergency Manager Dave Rogness says CodeRED is another important tool to get life-saving messages out to residents, "During past flood events, CodeRED has been used to make calls for emergency sandbag assistance for a neighborhood, and to provide pre-evacuation information under threatening conditions."

To register for CodeRED, go to http://www.casscountynd.gov and click on CodeRED. Should you not have Internet access, please contact a friend or family member to help add your contact information.
