Vic: Bracks confident of long term power deal

MELBOURNE, Feb 8 AAP - Victorian Premier Steve Bracks said today he was confident unions
and power firm Yallourn Energy could work out a long-term solution to their industrial
differences.

Mr Bracks said the government imposed a short-term solution by ordering workers back
to work so that the Yallourn power station in the Latrobe Valley could be restarted to
ease the state's power crisis.
