VIC: Greenies claim victory after loggers stopped in Otway

MELBOURNE, Jan 12 AAP - Environmentalists were celebrating tonight after striking a deal to
halt logging in part of the Otway State Forest on Victoria's south-west coast.

The Otway Ranges Environment Network say the deal with the Department of Conservation and
Natural Resources was struck after the group maintained a blockade on Egans Track near Lavers
Hill within the park.
